How to make quick and yummy carbonara

Gather all your ingredients, as you can see I have chopped up my veggies. You can use any veggies you like, spinach is goes really nice with this meal.

Boil your pasta, when ready just drain and put to one side.

Add 2 table spoons of olive oil to the pan and sauté the diced onions, you cal also add some garlic, I use garlic powder.

If you are doing it with meats such as chicken, beef, pork you will need to sauté it now until nearly cooked and set aside till step 7

When the onions start to brown, add the mushrooms.

As soon as your mushrooms start to fry, add the rest of the mushrooms. And cook on medium heat for around 4/5 minutes.

Whilst the veggies are still crunchy, add your meat/fish. I used prawn and gammon, you can use anything u like, such as chicken, bacon any fish....

Once everything is cooked, add the double cream and let cook for 5 minutes on low heat.

Sprinkle some cheese on top and leave it for couple minutes

And voila, I like mine mixed in with the pasta, but you can serve it separate on the plate.
